Treasurer:    No Update

Other Reports:

·        Jeff Blackburn, 530 Rep., updated Eboard on changes in ZFW contingency plans.  New plans easier to understand, condensed – “pull & replace” LOA pages will get to each area soon.  New decks for when we take approach airspace being built.  Roy Newsome retiring shortly – need replacement in 530 office (Art. 17?)

·        NAR Project/Bronco MOAs Canon AFB mtg. – SR will talk to Bob Stevens tomorrow to get Robert Ellis off schedule for mtgs. Scheduled week of 7/15.

Labor Relations:

Facility Placement Board:

·        VC said NATCA FPB members need to look at current facility release policy “hammer it out” prior to next FPB mtg.  IT will speak

Training:

·        Reps to get back to UO with names of those off schedule for EX’s Rep. Training class.

CQY: None

FRI:

·        Walt Gilbertson hardship off

·        RDO swap approved illegally for 10 weeks.  Area mgt. won’t do again. PP has discussed rules with area.

·        41E complete – signed this week.  Imposes no more restrictions than exist now (some removed).

-          No discipline for driving wrong way in parking lot

-          No fee for new card keys

JEN:

·        TFR for Presidential visits – ZHU requesting something in writing. 530 office is short staffed and having trouble getting this done.

·        SV is NATCA 510 Rep. – working with OF (Blackburn) on 510/530 issues.

POS:

·        POS listserve has been up and running for a week (Colonel will set up for other areas if requested).

·        Crew 3 supervisor doesn’t know what “formal discussion” is.  Talking to employees outside of Art. 8 mtg. (over time on position grievance) w/out representation.

New Business:

·        Control room Lighting

-          Area specific, can’t be changed w/out negotiations (mgt. needs to be educated on rules)

-          EX’s idea: pick 4 or 5 settings (1 for each week) and have surveys filled out.  Setting w/high score is kept.

-          Light meter might be needed to recreate light intensity (settings hard to recreate w/out one)

-          VC suggested that settings not gradually increased – people will get used to increasingly higher setting.  High, low, then medium settings will give more accurate survey.

·        Uses of Rep. Office

-          Dicussion on uses of “back” Rep. Office (for Reps only?). VC will talk to non-Rep in the Rep office a lot (office for official work only).

·        Stand-up Schedule
