The Chair, IT, called the meeting to order at 1245.

Minutes:
August 26^th Minutes complete; no quorum for approval.

 
Reports:

President:

·        15G Negotiations will be postponed until April, 2004 due to URET implementation & staffing due to URET training

·        September 24^th meet and greet during Facrep training week: Refreshments 5:30 – 7:30 pm, Fort Worth Stockyards Hotel

·        Cowboys tickets:  Discussed use of remaining tickets.

o        October 5^th and October 12^th tickets will go to Seniority guys, Chris Rice & Miguel Montgomery.  Will ask E-board members not present before it’s official.

o        IT will talk to Cathy Meachum about an NCF raffle for the November 2^nd tickets.

o        2 more games (November 9^th & 23^rd) to decide on what to do with.

Secretary:

·        OJTI recognition

·        Request for NATCA & Training Dept. to hold a recognition ceremony to present pins to all ZFW OJT instructors.  Tony Rios will look into ordering pins.  Date and details TBA.

·        Tracker training - Suggestion to postpone this until after URET training.

·        Read binder workgroup - UO will solicit BU member to help on this group.

Other Reports:

·        September 10^th AAL/ATC Forum (8 am – 3 pm) – due to the short notice of this meeting, still need representatives from ZFW BU to go to this.  Scott Voigt will be asked to go.

·        September 11^th meeting w/D10 reference departures (10:30) – Once again, due to the short notice, it is difficult to have Reps from the departure specialties attend (Skip Marsh?).
