The Chair, IT, called the meeting to order at 1150L.

 

 

Reports:

 

President:

·       IT discussed proposed Supervisor moves by Bob Stevens.  Bob mentioned he was looking at supes in an Area 5 or more years will be moved.  Eboard discussed pros and cons.

·       Article 17 help for Training Department.

Credit approved for BUEs that volunteer to help with current Stage classes finishing up “old” training system.  People won’t be recalled. Help needed 9/10 – 10/5 (5 BUEs); 9/21-11/5 (1 BUE).  Training Reps/Scheduling Reps need to be notified to see what shifts people can get off the schedule in their areas.

·       DSL

Herm Lyons said we need to apply for a waiver, and we should get DSL.

New Business:

·       FPB Report

VC requests numbers from the Areas by 9/3, including known losses by end of ’05.  Also, he needs in writing from CQY & JEN that they still don’t want new bodies from the IPPs coming in September.

·       Internet Filters and Eraser Software.

HH will turn on the filters and look into getting software that will completely erase internet acitivity, etc.

·       Secretary Laptop

HY motioned for Local to give $1500 for new VP laptop; old VP laptop to go to Secretary.

Motion seconded and passed unanimously.

·       Holiday cards

UO motioned for Local to give up to $600 for 2004 Holiday Cards.  Seconded and passed unanimously.

 

·       Old office

The old NATCA office still needs to be cleaned up.

·       Need delay time from POS for XO’s training delay during URET implementation.

CQY:

·       New hire Jeremy Bright was told by supe that he couldn’t have leave at Xmas.  He turned in his leave request on time after he got here, and since he is an extra body, should get his requests for A/L.  The supe that told him he couldn’t have the leave is wrong.
