The Chair, IT, called the meeting to order at 1230L.

·        None

Treasurer:

·        Account Balance Sheet submitted.  KO will have the 2005 budget at the 10/26 meeting for review.

 

 

New Business:

·        Security Guards – Holiday gifts

Al Neace made request that the Local give $425 for the security guards, et al., during the holidays.  SR motioned for the Local to give $425 for gift certificates for the security guards.  Seconded; Passed (one abstention).

 

·        Seniority program

PP will talk to Jim Hanlon about EXCEL program for seniority.

 

·        2005 Eboard Mtg. times

All Eboard Meetings will start at 12:30 local at crew change, January, 2005.

 

·        End of year recognitions

NATCA etched mugs will be given as NATCA Recognition.  Email Tim with BUE suggestions for recognition.

 

·        New Members’ area printer

Discussed purchase of new B/W laser printer for members’ area.  Old color printer would be used on other projects (e.g., .15g workgroup).  PP motioned for up to $300 from Local to purchase a Brother HL-1440 B/W Laser Printer, plus one replacement cartridge.  Seconded; Passed unanimously.

 

·        Holiday Cards (reopened)

The Eboard decided against ordering Holiday Cards for the Members this holiday season.  The Eboard will come up with something else to do for the Local’s Members with the money this year.

 

·        Flu shots

November 4th – flu shots will be available for $5.00 for employees, $15.00 for family members, 12:00 – 16:00 local.

 

·        Seniority Release Forms

Release of information forms are out and should be already getting out to workforce through Area Reps.

 

Unfinished Business:

 

·        Polo Shirts

Shirts discounted on orders of greater than 100.  Board discussed subsidies.  JF motioned to offer a polo shirt in tri-color to each Member for pre-order.  Then, Local would purchase the difference to equal at least 101 shirts, and subsidize the first pre-ordered shirt for each Member at $10.00 off.  Motion seconded.

PP made a motion to amend by replacing “$10.00” with “$7.00” as subsidy.  No second.

Original motion passed, 7 to 1.
